THE WELLS OF SALVATION

INTRODUCTION TEXT: Isaiah 12:3 “Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation.”

Salvation has many wells. Wells are synonymous to fountains, springs, etc. wells are sources of water.

One of the significance of water to mankind is quenching of thirst. This is to say, water meets need.

THE POWER OF SALVATION

Every need of Gods people is meet-able through the instrumentality of salvation. In salvation, God has created fountains, springs or wells by which what we needs to have our needs met can be fetched.

In getting man’s need met, there is God factor and human factor. Gods factor is to make the provision of what we need to have our needs met; but ours is to access His provision and to access water from the well or salvation we need the instrument of JOY, see John 4:10. The scripture says, “Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation.”

HOW TO DRAW OUT WATER OF THE WELLS OF SALVATION

If you closely to the above scripture, it never suggested you draw out water of the well of salvation with tears, complaining, murmuring, worry, anxieties, etc rather it suggested you do the drawing WITH JOY.

I want to close with this, the water we draws out and where you draw out water matters. There are many wells; but there is the WELLS OF SALVATION. That is where we should WITH JOY draw out water.

There is water of other wells; but there is WATER OF THE WELLS OF SALVATION. That is the water you are asked to draw and the well you must draw it out of must be the WELLS OF SALVATION.

WHO THE WELLS OF SALVATION IS

Lastly, the name Jesus means salvation (See Matthew 1:21). In Him are the wells of life which gives lasting quenching of thirst (Lasting solutions), See John 4:11. He is the well of salvation.

In JESUS is our real solutions to whatever need we have in our lives. If not through Jesus, there is nowhere else to get the solution you need.

Philippians  4:19  “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”
