SOUGHTOUT EMEKA MATTHEW
God is the God of deliverance. He has the ability to deliver us in any situation. He is the giver of deliverance.
The Psalmist confirmed:
Psa_18:50 Great deliverance giveth he to his king; and sheweth mercy to his anointed, to David, and to his seed for evermore.
In this article, I will be sharing with you on the five keys that unlock the door of God’s deliverance unto you.
And these keys are:
FIVE KEYS TO GOD’S DELIVERANCE
One great reason why some are delivered and others are not is traceable to securing divine mercy. This is because; divine mercy gives us access to the deliverance that God gives.
The Psalmist knew that too well and he sung:
Psa_6:4 Return, O LORD, deliver my soul: oh save me for thy mercies’ sake.
Jesus on the highway of Jericho stopped and delivered Barthemeaus from blindness because of His mercy sake.
Would you want God to deliver you from any form of sickness or challenges? Simply cry to Him for His mercy. When He shows you mercy, He will set you free from whatever that is troubling you.
Divine consideration is one of the keys to obtaining God’s deliverance. Until the Lord considers you, He won’t deliver you.
The Psalmist knew that too well and he prayed:
Psa_119:153 Consider mine affliction, and deliver me: for I do not forget thy law.
The lame man at the pool of Bethesda was delivered from palsy because; Jesus considered that he had been for a long time for that case and he had made several attempts to be healed at the pool but he couldn’t be healed. When God considers you for deliverance, he will ask you like He did ask the lame man, “Would you be made whole?” and finally, “rise up and take your bed and go”, (see John 5:1-8).
Do you trust God for His deliverance? Just ask Him to consider what you are passing through and deliver you.
GOD’S WORD OF PROMISE
When God gives His word, he is committed to fulfill it. Heaven and earth may pass away but none of His word will ever fail.
When God gives you His word to deliver you, you need to pray back his word to Him for Him to act. When you do that, God will be compelled to do what He said.
The Psalmist made us of this key and you too can equally make use of it. Tell God in prayers; deliver me according to your word in so chapter and verses of the scriptures and you will watch Him do it.
It is written:
Psa_119:170 Let my supplication come before thee: deliver me according to thy word.
Nothing facilitates deliverance like God’s presence. Deliverance becomes possible when God is present.
Nobody that jumped into the healing pool of Bethesda was able to get his/her healing until the presence of God stirs the water, (See John 5:1-7).
Nothing that fights you can prevail over you when God’s presence is with you. Whoever God’s presence is with will ever enjoy His deliverance.
Here is what God said to Isaiah concerning His people:
Jer_1:19 And they shall fight against thee; but they shall not prevail against thee; for I am with thee, saith the LORD, to deliver thee.
There is no situation God cannot deliver you from if you can get His presence in and around you. When you cultivate attitudes that bring down God’s presence into one’s life and situations, you will enjoy ceaseless deliverance.
ATTITUDES THAT BRINGS GOD’S PRESENCE TO YOUR LIFE AND SITUATIONS TO DELIVER YOU
Paul and Silas sang praises to God and the prison gates were open and every one of them chains and fetters fell off.
Act 16:25-26 And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them. And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one’s bands were loosed.
When the church prayed for Peter, God manifested Himself and deliver him from the scotch of death, which was the expectation of the Jews and Herod.
Act 12:1-11 Now about that time Herod the king stretched forth his hands to vex certain of the church. And he killed James the brother of John with the sword. And because he saw it pleased the Jews, he proceeded further to take Peter also. (Then were the days of unleavened bread.) And when he had apprehended him, he put him in prison, and delivered him to four quaternions of soldiers to keep him; intending after Easter to bring him forth to the people. Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him. And when Herod would have brought him forth, the same night Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with two chains: and the keepers before the door kept the prison. And, behold, the angel of the Lord came upon him, and a light shined in the prison: and he smote Peter on the side, and raised him up, saying, Arise up quickly. And his chains fell off from his hands. And the angel said unto him, Gird thyself, and bind on thy sandals. And so he did. And he saith unto him, Cast thy garment about thee, and follow me. And he went out, and followed him; and wist not that it was true which was done by the angel; but thought he saw a vision. When they were past the first and the second ward, they came unto the iron gate that leadeth unto the city; which opened to them of his own accord: and they went out, and passed on through one street; and forthwith the angel departed from him. And when Peter was come to himself, he said, Now I know of a surety, that the Lord hath sent his angel, and hath delivered me out of the hand of Herod, and from all the expectation of the people of the Jews.
Holy living will enable you to see God deliver you in any ugly situation.
Joseph was delivered from the prison because he led a holy life. It was written concerning him that God was with him even in the prison and facilitated his release, (See Genesis 39, 40 and 41).
Shedrack, Misheck and Abadnego were delivered from the fiery burning furnace fire all because they had unwavering faith in God. God appeared as the fourth man in the fire and set them free from its power, (Daniel 3).
TRUST IN GOD
Nothing enforces deliverance like trusting in God. When you are a person of trust, God will ever be at the right time to deliver you from your predicaments.
Shedrack, Misheck and Abadnego were delivered from the fiery burning furnace fire all because they had unwavering trust in God. If you can trust, there is always the fourth man in the fire to deliver you, (Daniel 3).
Psa_7:1 O LORD my God, in thee do I put my trust: save me from all them that persecute me, and deliver me:
In other places he prayed:
Psa_22:4, 8 Our fathers trusted in thee: they trusted, and thou didst deliver them. He trusted on the LORD that he would deliver him: let him deliver him, seeing he delighted in him.
Psa_25:20 O keep my soul, and deliver me: let me not be ashamed; for I put my trust in thee.
Would you like God to deliver you from your challenges?
